Kevin (53), aka Renegade, has a long history in the UK Hiphop world. He started breaking in 1982 and joined this in 1987 to spin and produce. He began as a DJ for UK lyricist Blade and has released several records with his own group, Son of Noise. Currently, Renegade is a member of the Extended Players DJ collective and travels around the world to spin at top international b-boy events, such as Red Bull BC. All his experience has made him one of the most respected dance event DJs in the world.
Roxrite
Omar Delgado (41) aka Roxrite, immigrated to the US from Mexico when he was six. At 12, he started dancing after being inspired by local bboys. His first crew, Sub 4, soon became a big part of his life. He later gave himself the name: Roxrite because he always rocks right. In the 10 years he has competed in competitions, he has finished first place 106 times. He has also won nine consecutive solo tournaments in an unbeaten run that lasted from December 2002 to August 2005.
Maikel Walker
Maikel Walker, 54, was born in Paramaribo and started his career in 1984. He is a disabled Dutch breakdancer who has made his mark on the scene since the 1980s. His interest in breakdancing was piqued by the film 'Beat Street' that came out in 1984. During a sabbatical in 1988, he took a break, but returned in 1997 by joining a crew in Rotterdam. With this group, he performed regularly and entered many international stages, including the Holland Heineken House in Athens in 2004. Although no longer active as a breakdancer, Maikel has developed into a certified judge for the World Dance Federation.
Fabio
Fabio Geloso was born in Brindisi, Italy. Besides being a dancer, he is also a graffiti artist, designer, organiser and promoter of various breaking events. His career started in 2004 and he has since performed on both national and international stages.
Nabil
Nabil el Khayer (37) has been active in the breaking scene since the age of 11. Nabil is very successful, having won the UK B-Boy Championships two years in a row (2010, 2011) and won the B-Boy Classic 2vs2 in 2015. According to Nabil, b-boying is more than a sport, it is a lifestyle.
Candy
New York's Candy Bloise aka Candy has been dancing since she could walk. Her passion for breaking arose in her High School years. Since then, she has had numerous performances and won many titles including the UK champs 3 on3 Bgirl Battle. She also runs workshops across Europe and the UK and judges competitions.
Carlos
Carlos Rocha has been active in the Breaking scene since the early 1980s. Carlos has given many showcases throughout the Netherlands with Paulo Nunes, Lloyd Marengo, Mairo Walden, MC Alee Rock and DJ Cutnice. In daily life, Carlos is active as youth sports coordinator at Stichting Welzijn Sportclubs Den Haag and is engaged in making Breaking and hip-hop more known to people.
Popski
Steve "Popski" Lobo is one of the early pioneers of the hip-hop scene in the Netherlands and Europe. Active since the early 1980s, Popski was in groups such as the Electric Boogiemen and Alex & the city crew. Popski is currently active as a dance teacher, performer, choreographer, movement trainer, music producer and jury member.
