Tickets

  • I lost my ticket, can I get a new one?

  • Do I need a ticket for the whole day?

    No, the afternoon qualifications are free to attend. You do need a ticket for the finals.

  • What is the ticket price for children and from what age?

    A kids ticket is valid for children from 4 to 12 years old on the day of the event.

    A kids ticket costs €15,00.

  • Can I bring my own food and beverages?

    It is not allowed to bring your own consumption. There are plenty of places to eat and drink where you can get food and drinks. 

  • What does a ticket for the finale cost?

    A regular ticket costs €25. Nevertheless, those with the Amsterdam City Pass can receive a discount code.

    A Child ticket (from 4 to 12 years) costs €15,-

    A Family ticket (for 2 adults and 2 children) costs €60

  • When does the Amsterdam Breaking Championships take place?

    The Amsterdam Breaking Championships takes place on Saturday 9th of December at the Centrale Markthal in Amsterdam.

  • What is the address?

    The navigation address for the Amsterdam Breaking Championships is Food Centre Amsterdam.

  • Are the changing rooms in the Centrale markthal heated?

    Yes, for participants, the changing rooms and warm-up area are heated.

  • Are there parking options?

    Qpark on the north side of the site (address Q-park westergasfabriek: Van Bleiswijkstraat 8, 1051 DG Amsterdam, or Q-park Europarking: Marnixstraat 250, 1016 TL Amsterdam). In contrast, the entrance to the site is on the south side. On the south side is also plenty of space to park your bike.

  • How do you get to the Centrale Markthal?

    The address is Jan van Galenstraat 4, located in Amsterdam West and therefore easily accessible by public transport. From the gate of the venue, a small train will run to and from the market hall.

  • What are the facilities for wheelchairs at Amsterdam Breaking Championships?

    The organisation of Amsterdam Breaking Championships does its best to ensure wheelchair accessibility. However, there is no guarantee that there will be (enough) space. Instructions given by staff must be followed at all times. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are available.

    Anyone who gets a crew of five dancers together can join the crew battles. Click on this link to sign up.

  • What ages are allowed to compete in the NK?

    The NK Breakdance is for 16-year-olds and above, but for the under-16s, the Young Generation Battle will be held starting at 5pm

  • What can I expect as a visitor? Can I visit the whole day?

    During the day, visitors can attend the qualifying rounds of the Breakers. There are also Voetjes van de Vloer dance activities for the whole family to get better acquainted with the Olympic sport(s). For the detailed programme, click the link.
